Join to apply for the Delivery Specialist role at O'Reilly Auto Parts.

The Delivery Specialist will maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. This position will also collect money on C.O.D. deliveries and pick up customer returns.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently.
2. Use delivery fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and perform vehicle inspections.
3. Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and ensure daily inspections are completed.
4. Secure vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, devices, and collected monies at all times.
5. Pick up customer returns and complete driver return slips.
6. Communicate any issues or special needs to store management.
7. Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage immediately.
8. Ensure the fuel tank is filled, and the vehicle is locked and secured at day's end.
9. Clock in/out according to company policy.
10. Perform additional duties such as customer service, stocking, merchandising, errands, and handling returns as assigned.
11. Assist customers or serve as a cashier when needed.

Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities:

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Adaptability to changing delivery situations.
• Valid driver's license and a driving record meeting company standards.

Desired:

• Familiarity with automotive parts.
• Ability to operate store equipment.
• Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish.
