Job summary

Chaparral Materials, Inc. – Las Cruces, NM is seeking a Delivery Helper to load materials, locate job sites, back up, prepare and restore the job site, and ready the truck for the next day.

The role also involves maintaining the truck and equipment. Responsibilities include safety compliance, pre-trip inspections, unloading at the customer site, securing loads, and route navigation to each job site, while adhering to OSHA and DOT guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately.
• Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and on a team; collaborate to get the job done.
• Ability to self-manage, show initiative, and drive results.
• Communicate professionally with coworkers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company, state and federal guidelines (OSHA/DOT) for safety.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and loaded product.
• Safely unload product and deliver to the designated area as directed by the customer.
• Secure mud, equipment, metal, and pallets on the truck.
• Navigate routes to the job site.
