Position Overview

The primary responsibility of a delivery driver is to deliver excellent customer service to our field operations while maintaining quality and on-time delivery standards. The role requires safe driving practices and adaptability to our business needs.

Technical Responsibilities

1. Transport materials securely to designated sites.
2. Unload and stage materials according to standard procedures.
3. Ensure accuracy and completeness of delivery paperwork.
4. Lift and carry up to 75 lbs. frequently and 100 lbs. occasionally.
5. Operate vehicles including 28’ box trucks, 16’ stake beds, and commercial vans.
6. Maintain cleanliness and address workplace hazards.
7. Perform additional duties as directed by the Delivery Supervisor.

Training and Certifications

• Valid California Driver’s License required.
• Knowledge of HVAC and plumbing parts is preferred.

Eligibility Requirements

Background checks including violations are required, with specific criteria outlined for recent and past violations.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Working Conditions and Management

• Operate forklifts such as sit-down, stand-up reach, and Combilift.
• Led by the Delivery Supervisor and Delivery Lead, reporting to the Warehouse Manager.
• Follow standard work documentation; suggestions for improvements are encouraged.
• Overtime may be required based on workload fluctuations.
