Job summary

Performance Food Group in Jackson, MS seeks a Router to design and manage delivery routes, optimize efficiency, and support drivers and customer service. The role reports to the Transportation Manager and typically follows a Sunday through Thursday schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years distribution, logistics, transportation or related work experience.
• Basic/Intermediate computer skills including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Establish delivery routes that are cost effective and DOT compliant.
• Maintain routing procedures for optimal use of personnel and equipment.
• Perform Roadnet routing maintenance and update route data daily.
• Produce driver manifests and provide reports on KPIs.
• Make adjustments to routes based on daily results.
