Job summary

McKesson in Fairfield, NJ is seeking a dynamic and motivated driver associate to join the team on a full-time basis. The role starts early each morning, routes end in the Monroe/Mt Kisco, NY area, and you will load freight in Fairfield before delivering to customers.

Requirements include a current US driver’s license, 6 months of parcel van experience, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Eligible for incentive pay, benefits, and a schedule that keeps you home every evening.

Qualifications

• 6 months minimum experience in a parcel van or larger delivery vehicle.

• Demonstrated verbal communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Load freight in Fairfield, NJ each morning.
• Complete daily routes to Monroe or Mt Kisco, NY area and return home each evening.
• Perform safe driving and follow route schedules.
• Provide reliable, courteous service to customers.

Position Overview

Our McKesson location in Fairfield, NJ is looking for a dynamic and motivated driver associate to join the team.

We currently have the following FT Parcel Van Driver Professional position available: Monday to Friday, 5:30 am until route is complete. The route ends in Monroe or Mt Kisco, NY area.

Rate of pay is $22.72/hr. Full time/permanent. Maximize your earning potential at McKesson with rewarding incentive programs. You can earn up to 10% more in incentive pay for achieving your goals with additional stretch opportunities for an extra 6%. Incentive is paid out every 4 weeks.

What You’ll Need

• Required to have a current valid US Driver’s License
• 6 months minimum experience in a parcel van or larger delivery vehicle
• Daily morning travel to Fairfield, NJ to load freight. You will then do the deliveries for the route. The route ends in Monroe or Mt Kisco, NY area.
• To qualify, you must have secure off-street parking for the delivery vehicle as you would take the vehicle home with you every evening.
• Ability to maintain a safe driving history
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Demonstrated verbal communication and customer service skills
• Problem resolution skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
• Frequently required to sit for 3 or more hours
• Frequently required to stand for 3 or more hours
