Job summary

McKesson in Virginia seeks a dynamic Delivery Professional to join our team as a line haul tractor-trailer driver. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 11pm until completion, with home daily.

You will deliver medical supplies and equipment, use a current US CDL-A, and meet DOT requirements. The position pays $30/hr with a $1.50/hr shift differential and includes a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Requires current valid US Class A CDL.
• 1+ year experience driving a combination tractor-trailer.
• Must pass DOT Clearinghouse and physical requirements.
• Ability to maintain a safe driving history.
• Must be 21 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medical supplies and equipment to customers.
• Maintain safe driving practices and on-time deliveries.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery points.
• Complete daily route paperwork and documentation.
• Work with transportation team to ensure efficiency.

• Monday to Friday, 11pm until completion (home daily)

What You’ll Need

• Required to have a current valid US Class A Commercial Driver's License
• 1+ year(s) experience driving a combination tractor-trailer truck
• Must successfully complete and be able to maintain requirements of Clearinghouse and physical set by DOT
• Ability to maintain a safe driving history
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Demonstrated verbal communication and customer service skills
• Problem resolution skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
• Frequently required to sit for 3 or more hours
• Frequently required to stand for 3 or more hours
