Job summary

Geiger Ready-Mix Co is looking for Delivery Professionals to perform local concrete deliveries. You will join a safety‑minded, team‑oriented culture and can earn competitive hourly pay with benefits and incentives.

Start times vary, including early mornings and occasional after‑midnight shifts, with available overtime. To qualify, you must hold a valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement, pass a DOT physical and drug screen, and maintain a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement and no manual transmission restriction.
• Ability to pass and maintain a DOT physical and regular drug screening.
• Safe driving record that meets federal/state motor carrier requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with customers and teammates.
• Ability to work safely in changing weather and construction environments.
• Strong preference for ready‑mix, construction, or heavy equipment experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver concrete to customers on a local route with varying daily start times.
• Maintain safety protocols and professional conduct on the job site and while driving.
• Coordinate with dispatch and operations to meet schedules and customer needs.
• Support a team‑oriented culture and adapt to weather and schedule changes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with air brake endorsement and no manual transmission restriction; pre-qualified candidates may be able to obtain required licensure through Geiger’s sponsored CDL training program
• Ability to pass and maintain a DOT physical and regular drug screening
• Safe driving record that meets federal and state motor carrier requirements
• Ability to work safely in changing weather and construction environments
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with customers and teammates
• Ability to maintain a professional, respectful attitude in fast-paced or stressful situations

Strong consideration given to candidates with prior ready-mix, construction or heavy equipment experience and mechanical aptitude.

About The Schedule

Concrete is a time sensitive material and customer demand drives our schedule. As a result, start times may vary significantly, including occasional after-midnight starts. There are no guaranteed daily start or end times. Delivery Professionals must be willing and able to work varying daily schedules, early morning starts, overtime, Saturdays, and DOT-regulated hours as business demands require.

The pace can be demanding, but many of our drivers enjoy the variety, independence, team environment, and opportunity to increase their earnings through overtime and performance incentives.
