About the role

The Delivery PMO will oversee all initiatives, ensure alignment with business goals. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across delivery functions, Track KPIs. Identify, escalate, and mitigate delivery risks.

In this role, you will
  1. Oversee the end-to-end management of a portfolio of field operations and delivery initiatives, ensuring all projects align with strategic business goals.

  2. Develop and implement best-practice project management methodologies, tools, and processes to standardize delivery across all functions.

  3. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing delivery metrics, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing corrective actions to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

  4. Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for all delivery projects, providing regular, data-driven reports to senior leadership.

  5. Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues that could impact project timelines, budgets, or quality.

  6. Lead a team of project managers, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development to ensure a high-performing and collaborative team.

What you need to have to be considered
  1. Expert knowledge of project and program management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).

  2. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.

  3. Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  4. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).

  5. Experience with change management and process optimization.

  6. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project or program management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.

These will help you stand out
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

  2. PMP or PgMP certification is highly desirable.

  3. Experience in telecommunications, field services, or a similar operations-heavy industry is a significant advantage.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $105,000 - $164,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
