Job summary

Empire Auto Parts is seeking a Driver Supervisor to oversee delivery operations across multiple locations. You will manage a team of delivery drivers, develop efficient routes, and ensure timely, safe deliveries in a fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with sales and warehouse teams to optimize order processing, maintain vehicle compliance, and handle payroll duties. A strong leadership presence and commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or management experience in delivery or logistics.
• Knowledge of delivery operations, route planning, and driver scheduling.
• Experience with vehicle maintenance and safety compliance.
• Familiarity with the aftermarket auto parts industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of delivery drivers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Develop and implement delivery schedules, routes, and procedures to optimize efficiency.
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of delivery activities (logs, mileage, fuel, vehicle maintenance).
• Coordinate with sales and customer service to ensure timely order processing and delivery.
• Conduct regular inspections of delivery vehicles for safety and compliance.
• Collaborate with warehouse to ensure proper loading and inventory accuracy.
• Resolve delivery-related issues promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
• Oversee payroll activities including timekeeping and PTO approvals.
• Possess a player/coach mindset and be prepared to complete routes as needed.
