Qualifications

• Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required.
• At least five years’ related experience is required.
• Minimum of three years driving history required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older at the time of hire.
• Must meet job-related requirements to comply with D.O.T., F.D.A. and Joint Commissions regulations.

Responsibilities

• Organize daily deliveries and pick-ups by geographic area and staff availability.
• Process additional deliveries as patient and referral requests are received.
• Respond to emergency delivery calls on a regular and on-call basis.
• Assign, direct, and coach staff to ensure timely deliveries.
• Ensure delivery staff assemble and depart from location within required timeframe.
• Deliver and pick up equipment from homecare patients and instruct patients on basic equipment use.
