Base pay range

$15.00/hr - $18.00/hr

The Delivery Merchandiser is responsible for following behind a driver to merchandise retail accounts. This role is nonexempt and reports to the Delivery Manager.

Primary Objectives & Essential Functions

• Merchandising Functions
• Fills, rotates, and merchandises products in cold vaults, shelves and displays.
• Physically moves product from pallets to cooler to stock using a hand truck.
• Organizes, Rotates, and maintain backroom coolers for easy access.
• Maintain professional behavior with all accounts serviced.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Merchandisers must have excellent interpersonal skills to satisfy the needs of customers.
• Able to work independently.
• Willingness to work fast paced to keep within assigned hours.
• Physically demanding (lifting to 50lbs)
  
  

Responsibilities

The Delivery Merchandiser assumes other responsibilities as assigned by the Delivery Manager and Area Delivery Managers. These responsibilities and objectives include but are not limited to:

• Attendance Expectations
• Appearance
• Professionalism
• Retailer Satisfaction Performance (SSM)
• All other duties as assigned.
  
  

Development of Delivery Merchandiser

• Participates in company and team meetings and attends other meetings as required.
• Continued education programs when necessary.
• BrewU Course Related to job function and safety
• Transitional program to train and develop Delivery Merchandiser to a Sales role.
  
  

Delivery Merchandiser Requirements

• He/she must possess an effective ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with internal and external customers.
• Maintain a smartphone with data plan capable of operating delivery software
• Broad knowledge of company objectives.
• Excellent interpersonal & customer service skills.
• Ability to read and understand merchandise pricing and invoicing.
• Excellent computer skills in all applicable programs.
• The Delivery Merchandiser must demonstrate the ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues.
  
  

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Required to possess and maintain a clean, valid Driver License for a minimum of 60 months. Driving records must remain free of significant violations and meet company policies and standards.
  
  

Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
  
  

Physical Demands

These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the Delivery Merchandiser. While performing the responsibilities of the Delivery Merchandiser, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is required to lift a minimum weight of 50 pounds repeatedly through the course of the day. In addition, they are required to functionally lift and maneuver up to 165 pounds. with the assistance of a hand truck or lifting implement. Work Environment

While performing the responsibilities of the Delivery Merchandiser, these work environment characteristics are representative of the environment the Delivery Helper will encounter. While performing the duties of this job in the internal and external environment, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. While performing duties of this job in the field environment, the employee will be exposed on a regular basis to moving mechanical parts, motor vehicles and traffic. In addition, the exposure while in customer locations cannot be projected. These conditions may vary, and the employee will receive adequate training to recognize and avoid hazards that cannot be described as expected. Noise levels will range from quiet to loud.
