Job summary

Your Health Organization is hiring a Delivery Medical Associate (Driver) to serve patients in the [LOCATION] area. You will safely transport durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patients’ homes, ensuring timely delivery and quality service.

This full-time role requires reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and strong communication skills. Work hours are 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with routine collaboration with dispatch to optimize routes and service areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Delivery of medical equipment experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport durable medical equipment.
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Load and unload equipment onto and from the vehicle.
• Secure equipment to prevent damage during transport.
• Verify condition of equipment at delivery and return.
• Install and set up equipment at facilities and residences.
• Ensure proper functioning and placement of installed equipment.
• Provide basic instructions to clients on new equipment.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes for timely deliveries.
• Coordinate with dispatch for schedules and updates.
• Instruct clients on care of delivered equipment.
• Address client inquiries professionally.
• Maintain delivery records with signatures and times.
