Job summary
Gulfeagle Supply is seeking a Delivery Material Handler at the Valdosta branch to support daily material delivery and back-office coordination. You will work closely with drivers to ensure on-time, accurate deliveries and safe handling of materials.
The role requires physical stamina, safety awareness, and the ability to operate equipment and climb ladders as needed. Training and advancement opportunities are available within the Gulfeagle network.
Qualifications
- Read, write, and comprehend English or Spanish.
- Knowledge of roofing materials and distribution.
Responsibilities
- Load and secure materials on trucks daily.
- Assist in verifying quantities for accuracy.
- Help locate job sites and guide drivers.
- Brace for safe delivery and operate forklifts/cranes as needed.
- Assist with roof top delivery up to 40 ft ladder.
- Maintain clean, safe warehousing, yard, and trucks.
- Ensure OSHA compliance and safety practices.
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points.
- Keep accurate records and report issues to management.
