Delivery Managers serve as the Chief Scrum Master across all delivery teams within a product. They are responsible for the overall solution delivery and support of large-scale programs with complex integrations. Delivery Managers are responsible for managing the communication across program stakeholders, defining mitigation strategies to remediate risks & issues, and assisting teams to ensure that the value being delivered aligns to the product vision defined by product managers.

The Corporate Solutions FICO Delivery Manager is responsible for leading and delivering multiple medium to large-scale Waterfall projects simultaneously, managing them from start to finish while ensuring they align with business objectives. They will be leading SAP, iSeries and cloud-based projects. This role will support applications for the U.S., Canada, and the International regions.

The Delivery Managers play a key part in enabling the team to achieve business value by handling key outward-facing responsibilities such as financial tracking, managing stakeholder relationships (including supporting the product owner), and providing regular updates to the broader organization.

ROLE

1. Helps with the allocation of resources and provides teams with the necessary support to remediate impediments and reported issues.
2. Facilitates program increment (PI) sessions across all delivery pods aligned to a product, or value stream, and the accompanying planning sessions (pre and post PI planning sessions).
3. Works with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to plan release schedules across products.
4. Supports product teams with the delivery of new features and capabilities while empowering them and allowing them to be self-organized.
5. Leads program increment retrospectives to identify improvement opportunities that can be implemented to improve productivity.
6. Monitors delivery team metrics to evaluate progress against delivery milestones (e.g., release burnups).
7. Aggregates individual delivery pod status into portfolio-level risks, assumptions and interdependencies.
8. Creates weekly reports highlighting the health of the overall delivery status to program leadership and various stakeholders.
9. Leads regular “Scrum-of-Scrum” meetings with Scrum Masters from all product teams to drive alignment across development activities and review blockers or impediments impacting team productivity.
10. Coordinates the resolution of internal and external dependencies across value streams and shared services.
11. Drives tactical day-to-day delivery process, including removing impediments that negatively impact productivity or block the team’s process.
12. Ensures effective communication, collaboration, coordination and team engagement in initiatives that cut across portfolios and products.
13. Creates and manages detailed project plans and reports critical paths.
14. Supports problem resolution; resolves issues; and acts on feedback and usage of in-life products.
15. Investigates, manages, and applies authorized requests for changes to base-lined requirements, in line with change management policy.
16. Works with subject matter expertise to articulate high level technical status and provides status reports to the appropriate audience.
17. Tracks, manages, mitigates, and documents risks and issues.
18. Develops and establishes project budgets, manages changes, and tracks actual costs and variance to the approved budget.
19. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of the projects.
20. Manages clear and specific contractual terms for required project work with suppliers.
21. Manages and escalates issues and concerns related to compliance and security to appropriate stakeholders.
22. Sets clear expectations for self and the project team, and takes appropriate actions to ensure obligations are met.
23. Facilitates periodic planning sessions across all delivery pods aligned to a product or value stream.
24. Supports the Product Owners and the Product Managers with the facilitation of system demos to demonstrate the integration of products to program stakeholders.

REQUIRED

1. 5+ years of hands-on Project Management experience, utilizing both Waterfall and/or SAP project methodologies, demonstrating strong planning, execution, and delivery skills.
2. 3+ years of experience independently leading medium to large-scale Waterfall projects, with a proven track record of managing end-to-end project lifecycles and cross-functional teams.
3. Experience with iSeries applications, SAP FICO systems (Financial Accounting and Controlling) will be an added advantage.
4. Strong understanding of Resource Management and the value of effectively managing resources across multiple projects, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization.
5. Demonstrated experience in planning, leading, and delivering highly technical, complex IT solutions, coordinating across multiple business and IT teams to meet project objectives.
6. In-depth knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), with hands-on experience leading development teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Recommended

1. PMP or SAP Activate methodology certification.
2. Experience with DevOps, including CI/CD.
3. Working knowledge of Service Now (Carts+) Portfolio and Program Management module.
4. Experience working with Financial Control systems, SAP, iSeries, and various Material Management systems.
5. Proficient in Google Workspace applications, including Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Gmail.

Pay Range: $125,000 - $155,000
