Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. is seeking a Driver Helper to load, deliver, and unload products using flatbeds, box trucks, and dry vans. The role may require evenings, weekends, and overtime, with outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

You will review loading tickets, assist with paperwork, communicate ETAs, and help unload and install large items when needed. This entry-level, full-time position includes safety training and benefits.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work outdoors in the elements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodation.
• Ability to move and maneuver products up to 300 lbs with proper equipment and teamwork.
• Wear appropriate work attire (hard hat, steel-toed boots, gloves, safety vest).

Responsibilities

• Load products onto delivery vehicle based on loading tickets and specs.
• Communicate delivery arrivals to customers.
• Assist with paperwork and ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Unload products using lift gates, ramps, pallet jacks, or carts.
• Interact professionally with customers and coworkers to maintain a positive environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and workspace.
• Follow JB Hunt safety requirements and PPE use.
• May assist with installing large appliances, furniture, or home exercise equipment.
