Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. is seeking a Driver Helper to assist with loading, delivering, and unloading products using various equipment types, including flatbeds, box trucks, and dry vans. The role requires flexible shifts and may involve outdoor work at times, with overtime possible.

You will help with securing products, paperwork accuracy, and communicating ETAs to customers, while maintaining safety and equipment cleanliness throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and able to work outdoors and across multiple shifts.
• Ability to lift product up to 50 lbs with or without accommodation.
• Ability to move and maneuver product up to 300 lbs with proper tools and methods.
• Must wear PPE including bump cap, steel-toed shoes, gloves, and safety vest.

Responsibilities

• Review loading tickets and load appropriate products onto delivery vehicle.
• Communicate delivery arrivals to the customer.
• Assist with ensuring all paperwork is in order, accurate, and complete.
• Unload products using lift gate, ramp, pallet jack, or other equipment.
• Interact professionally with coworkers and customers in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of delivery equipment and workspace.
• Comply with safety requirements and PPE policies.
• May assist with installation/assembly of large appliances, furniture, or home exercise equipment.
