Job summary

Capital One’s Enterprise Tech Delivery (ETD) team seeks a dynamic Manager-level Project Manager to lead substantial technology initiatives and partner across Lines of Business to drive operational clarity and scalable delivery.

You will govern programs, manage scope and timelines, mitigate risks, and ensure on-time delivery while mentoring a growing team and establishing clear work frameworks across complex streams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years of Project Management experience.
• 2+ years of Jira experience.

Responsibilities

• Govern & manage large scale projects across the technology organization and Capital One Lines of Business (LOBs).
• Drive projects based on defined priorities; ensure scope of deliverables and timelines are met; identify risks and issues and mitigate or elevate as needed.
• Ensure comprehensive project documentation and governance to proactively manage risks and guarantee on-time delivery.
• Leverage strong problem-solving and analytical skills to ensure project execution aligns with business intent.
• Serve as a strategic and tactical thought partner to stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive seamless delivery.
• Build strong relationships and leverage outstanding communication skills to inform, align, and influence stakeholders at all levels across the company.
• Quickly implement clear frameworks and organization to effectively manage work within complex workstreams.
• Lead with a coaching mindset to mentor, develop, and grow a team of associates.
• Exhibit exceptional organizational flexibility when adjusting to shifting business requirements and evolving corporate objectives.
