Brook Valley Appliance Inc. is seeking a Delivery Driver & Installer in Manchester, VT.

The role involves safely driving delivery vehicles, delivering and installing merchandise, and leaving customers with a positive impression by following company methods. The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), a valid driver’s license, ability to lift heavy items with proper equipment, and a reliable, punctual, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service and communication skills.
• Must hold a valid and clean driver’s license.
• Able to lift heavy items with proper equipment and assistance.
• Punctual and reliable, flexible with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, install and hook up merchandise sold to customers.
• Complete customer paperwork according to company standards.
• Ensure courteous and positive attitude is maintained in duties.
• Assist in preparing merchandise for delivery and installation per work order instructions.
• Assist in receiving merchandise at the warehouse and notify supervisor of damages.
• Maintain warehouse in orderly fashion and clean area.
• Pickup merchandise from vendors as required.
• Communicate issues to supervisor.
• Operate company vehicles in accordance with State Law and report incidents.
• Assist in maintaining delivery vehicles and equipment.
• Assist in setup and arrangement of in-store floor displays.
• Adhere to OSHA/VOSHA safety regulations.
• Report injuries or accidents immediately.
• Attend safety and company meetings as required.
