Job summary

Roanokepremier is seeking a Delivery Specialist to be the face of the company on the road and in customers’ homes. You will deliver and install merchandise, build relationships, and resolve on‑the‑spot issues while delivering outstanding customer experiences in a fast‑paced environment.

In this role you will handle loading, transportation, installation, and minor repairs, ensuring safety and quality. This position combines field work with in‑store collaboration, requiring strong communication

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• DOT certification (if required by state law).
• Previous customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, install, relocate, and retrieve merchandise safely and professionally.
• Ensure all deliveries, service calls, and pickups are completed on schedule.
• Handle merchandise with care during loading, transportation, and setup.
• Verify products, model numbers, and serial numbers before delivery.
• Perform minor repairs and transport items needing major service repairs.
• Inspect and refurbish returned merchandise to showroom‑ready condition.
• Create positive experiences for customers during every interaction.
• Answer calls professionally and assist customers with questions or concerns.
• Follow company service standards and customer satisfaction guidelines.
• Resolve issues quickly and professionally while maintaining strong communication.
• Safeguard company property and money collected in the field.
• Help receive and organize incoming merchandise.
• Keep delivery vehicles and back‑room areas clean and organized.
• Assist with store maintenance, cleaning, and operational goals.
• Support customer growth and revenue‑building efforts.
• Help with customer order forms and account verifications when needed.
