Job Description Summary

The Senior Supplier Performance and Execution Delivery Improvement Leader (DIL) will focus on achieving optimal delivery outcomes and ensuring internal customer satisfaction. This role involves working with the Delivery Sub Commodity Team to develop, implement, and improve processes that enhance delivery performance, manage constraints, and plan recoveries. Approximately 25% of the time will be dedicated to training and developing the SFL team within their sub commodity.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Utilize interpersonal skills to influence at all levels, including senior management and suppliers, explaining complex information clearly.
  2. Support the definition and communication of delivery processes in collaboration with the SP&E Process Team.
  3. Leverage enterprise resources for problem solving and systemic action planning.
  4. Provide training and mentorship to new team members on delivery processes and standard work, including addressing reporting gaps.
  5. Manage Military and Commercial Spares forecast and delinquency burn down plans.
  6. Partner with Supplier Fulfillment and Delivery Leaders to address shortages impacting the business, including participation in weekly reviews.
  7. Ensure adherence to standard work and training materials, representing business needs to the process team.
  8. Achieve comprehensive supplier health through standard processes, managing actions to meet quality and delivery metrics.
  9. Serve as the point of contact within the business unit for questions and issues, escalating concerns as needed.
  10. Possess specialized expertise within their discipline and understand risks associated with changes.
  11. Influence strategy development within their area, including resource control and policy influence.
  12. Advise management and support decision-making on critical subjects.
  13. Use high judgment to handle complex tasks impacting the function, utilizing internal and external sources for decisions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of relevant experience in External Supply Chain or Supplier Management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant fields.

Additional Information

The position offers a salary range of $108,400 to $144,500, with potential bonuses based on performance. The role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information, contingent on legal authorization.
