Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking a Delivery Helper at the Norfolk, VA area to support loading, unloading and delivering materials to job sites. You will help prepare trucks for daily routes and ensure proper securing of cargo and adherence to safety protocols.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to read and communicate clearly, and the capacity to work in a dynamic field environment with occasional overtime. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately.
• Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs while handling materials.

Responsibilities

• Comply with OSHA and DOT safety guidelines.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and loaded product.
• Safely unload product and deliver to the assigned area as directed.
• Secure mud, equipment, metal, and pallet on the truck.
• Navigate routes to the job site.
