Job summary

Karpp - Boston is seeking a Delivery Helper to load materials, locate jobsites, assist with backing procedures, and prepare trucks for the next day while maintaining equipment. This role involves frequent local travel to customer sites and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Ideal candidates will have basic reading/writing skills, the ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and a willingness to follow safety procedures and work well in a team. High school diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate information accurately.
• Ability to safely load, unload, and handle building materials.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Comply with OSHA, DOT, and safety guidelines.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure order accuracy.
• Safely unload and deliver materials as directed at customer sites.
• Secure materials on the truck and navigate routes to jobsites.
• Maintain trucks and equipment in a safe, clean condition.
• Prepare trucks and materials for following day deliveries.
