Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. in Spokane, WA is hiring a Delivery Helper to load, locate job sites, back in, prepare and restore job sites, and ready the truck for the next day. You will help ensure accuracy of orders and safely handle materials for delivery to customers.

Ideal candidates can read, write, communicate clearly, and lift up to 75 lbs. The role includes safety responsibilities under OSHA/DOT, potential overtime, and a benefits package as part of a national building materials distributor.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately.
• Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs. to carry materials such as drywall materials and joint compound.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company, state and federal guidelines, especially OSHA and DOT, for safety of all personnel.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and loaded product to ensure order accuracy.
• Safely unload product and deliver to the assigned area as directed by the customer.
• Secure mud, equipment, metal, and pallet on the truck.
• Navigate routes to the job site.
