Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. in Reno, NV is seeking a Delivery Helper to assist with loading materials, locating jobsites, and supporting daily delivery operations. You will help prepare trucks for next-day deliveries and ensure safe handling of materials on construction sites.

Responsibilities include following OSHA and DOT guidelines, performing pre-trip checks, unloading and delivering materials, securing loads, and assisting with route navigation while maintaining a safe outdoor work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate information accurately.
• Ability to safely load, unload, and handle building materials.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Comply with company, state, and federal guidelines, particularly OSHA and DOT requirements for safety.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork, and loaded product to ensure order accuracy.
• Safely unload product and deliver materials to the assigned area as directed by the customer.
• Secure mud, equipment, metal, pallets, and other materials on the truck.
• Assist with route navigation to jobsites.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company safety procedures.
• Assist in preparing trucks and equipment for the following day's deliveries.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
