Job description

Position Summary

The primary functions of the Delivery Helper are to load, locate job sites, backing, prepare and restore the job site, prepare the truck for the following day, and maintain the truck and equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Compliance with company, state, and federal guidelines, particularly OSHA and DOT, for the safety of all personnel.
• Perform pre‑trip inspections of equipment, paperwork, and loaded product to ensure order accuracy.
• Safely unload product and deliver it to the assigned area as directed by the customer.
• Secure mud, equipment, metal, and pallets on the truck.
• Navigate routes to the job site.

Basic Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate information accurately.
• Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs and handle materials such as drywall and joint compound.
• Core competencies: trust, integrity, servant leadership, humility, and respect for diverse perspectives.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and on a team; lead, execute, and delegate when needed.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships at all levels and support an inclusive workplace.

Physical Requirements

• Remain standing 90% of the time.
• Move from unloading materials from commercial motor vehicles onto the job site.
• Unload and load materials from flatbed or boom, frequently carrying up to 100 lbs.
• Communicate accurately with management and coworkers.
• Work outside while making deliveries.
