Raymond Building Supply, a Division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking a Delivery Helper to serve North Fort Myers, FL. You will deliver materials to job sites, confirm orders, and assist in loading and unloading while helping maintain yard and warehouse areas.

We value safety, reliability, and strong customer service. Prior delivery or warehouse experience is a plus, with opportunities for growth within Driver, Warehouse, and Yard roles.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with delivery, material handling and/or warehouse required.
• Ability to do basic math, read orders, writes instructions and complete forms.
• Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with customers, other employees and supervisors using verbal and written skills.
• Ability to deal constructively with conflict and recognize potential problems.
• Knowledge and ability to use safe lifting techniques.
• Proficiency with or ability to learn current technologies (e.g. Smartphone, GPS and other necessary business applications).

• Relay messages sent by customers while on job.
• Assist supervisor, other employees and other work areas, as assigned.
• Assist driver in evaluating delivery site, noting potential hazards, obstacles, physical challenges, etc.; guide driver in maneuvering on and off customer's property to avoid damage as needed.

A Brief Overview

Founded in 1957, Raymond Building Supply supplies specialty building materials to customers across southwest Florida, operating multiple locations in the state, including custom millwork, wall panel and truss manufacturing facilities. Raymond's operations also include Jones Lumber, with locations in Boca Raton and Fort Pierce, and LouMac Distributors in Fort Myers.

What you will do

The Delivery Helper delivers materials to job site, reports shortages and claims to supervisor and assists in loading and storing of materials. Success in this position could lead to other opportunities within the Driver, Warehouse and Yard functions.
