Summary

The Home Delivery Driver Helper plays a crucial role in delivering products to designated locations. To excel in this position, the helper needs to prioritize efficiency, effectiveness, and safety throughout the delivery process. Additionally, the helper should consistently provide exceptional customer service by demonstrating quality workmanship and clear, professional communication. By adhering to these standards, the Home Delivery Helper can ensure a positive experience for both the customer and the company.

Primary Job Functions

• Responsible for loading products into trucks with the driver and going to customers’ homes on pre‑routed trips. Delivery can range from drop at the doorstep to full set‑up of the product in the home.
• Following the best practices for safety while loading or unloading a truck.
• Communicating with dispatchers, drivers, and other team members to make deliveries.
• Demonstrate the company’s core and growth values in the performance of all job functions.
• Follow all OSHA and company‑established safety rules and procedures.

Secondary Job Functions

• Maintain reliable attendance.
• Actively participate in departmental meetings, training and education; assist with training other employees and providing backup.
• Complete other assignments and special projects as requested.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience

• 6 months to 1 year of delivery experience preferred.
