JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES

You must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record that meets company standards, as well as access to an insured vehicle for delivery. You should possess navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.

GENERAL JOB DUTIES FOR ALL STORE TEAM MEMBERS

1. Operate all equipment.
2. Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage and work areas.
3. Prepare product.
4. Receive and process telephone orders.
5. Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
6. Clean equipment and facility daily.

TRAINING

Orientation and training will be provided on the job.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

1. Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
2. Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/SKILLS

1. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use a calculator).
2. Must be able to make correct monetary change.
3. Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
4. Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
5. Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
6. Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
7. Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings and private homes while carrying products.

WORK CONDITIONS

Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing tasks outside. In-store temperatures can range from 36 degrees in the cooler to 90 degrees and above in some work areas. Other exposures include fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, and hot surfaces/tools from ovens up to 500 degrees or higher.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Most tasks are performed from a standing position.
2. Delivery personnel must travel between the store and delivery vehicle and from the delivery vehicle to the customer's location.
3. Bulk product deliveries are made and unloaded using a hand truck.
4. Deliveries may include cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
5. Team members must infrequently navigate stairs or climb ladders.

DRIVING SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES

Deliver products by car and to the customer's door. Deliver flyers and door hangers.
