Responsibilities
- Deliver pizza orders to customers within the designated delivery area, potentially making several deliveries per shift.
- Deliver flyers, door hangers, and other promotional materials.
- Take and process telephone orders, ensuring accurate order capture and correct change.
- Enter orders into the computer system or touch‑screen, verifying data accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and work area.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Hold a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Have access to an insured vehicle suitable for delivery.
- Possess strong navigational skills, able to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Capable of adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing accurately and quickly (calculator may be used).
- Accurately provide correct monetary change.
- Show good verbal, written, and telephone communication skills for taking and processing orders.
- Demonstrate motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid and precise movements.
- Able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Physical Requirements
- Lifting: Unload bulk product deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds with dimensions up to 3' x 1.5'.
- Carrying: Move large cans (about 3 lb 7 oz) and trays of pizza dough (approximately 12 lb each) over short distances.
- Walking: Travel between the store and delivery vehicle and to customer locations over short distances.
- Standing, sitting, stooping, bending, and reaching as required by the job tasks.
- Work in varied weather conditions and temperature ranges, both inside and outside.
