Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Maine in Brunswick, ME is seeking a part-time Route Delivery Associate to optimize delivery routes and ensure accurate, timely patient deliveries. You will handle totes, emergency kits, and IV boxes, while maintaining strict privacy standards and customer service.

This role requires travel by ground and flexible hours with a Wednesday-Saturday schedule. You must be at least 21, have 2+ years of related experience, and possess a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• State Driver’s License required.
• 21+ years old; 2+ years related experience.
• Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred/required.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, team environment with multiple tasks.
• GPS and hands-free cell phone use permitted.

Responsibilities

• Determine most efficient and logical route for each route assigned.
• Check totes for assigned facilities to ensure order is complete prior to departure.
• Deliver correct totes to facilities in a timely manner.
• Exchange facility emergency kits and IV boxes as needed.
• Pick up return items and refused medications with safety protocols.
• Complete paperwork/filing accurately at end of shift.
• Present a pleasant and respectful demeanor to all clients.
• Work with team members as needed in special circumstances; be flexible as needed.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance and advise supervisor when repairs are required; arrange servicing as assigned.
• Complete delivery assignments within shift time while complying with traffic regulations.
• Follow instructions related to patient privacy rules.
• Other essential duties as assigned.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday (Wed-Fri, 2:00pm - 8:00pm & Sat, 1:00pm - 6:00pm)
• Pay: $19.00 - $19.50
• Location: Guardian Pharmacy - 3 Business Pkwy, Brunswick, ME 04011

Work assigned routes with time sensitive delivery requirements. Ensure all deliveries are accurate and timely. Comply with all Federal and Company privacy regulations regarding safeguarding of patient information.

Education and/or Certifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• State Driver’s License

• Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred/required
• Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
