Guardian Pharmacy in Pink Hill, North Carolina, is seeking a delivery driver to manage overnight routes with strict attention to privacy and accuracy. You will ensure timely delivery, check totes, and handle return items while following safety protocols.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, flexible hours, and a rotating schedule including every other weekend. Join a supportive, growth-focused team within the Guardian family of pharmacies.

Formación

• Applicants must be 21 years old or older.
• 2+ years of related delivery/route experience.
• Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred/required.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy; fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to use GPS and hands-free cell phones; read maps in English.

Responsabilidades

• Determine most efficient route for each assigned route.
• Check totes for facilities to ensure complete orders before departure.
• Deliver correct totes to facilities in a timely manner.
• Exchange emergency kits and IV boxes as needed.
• Pickup returns and refused medications following safety protocols.
• Complete paperwork at shift end with accuracy.
• Maintain a courteous demeanor with clients at all times.
• Collaborate with team and adapt to special circumstances.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance and report repairs as needed.
• Complete deliveries within shift time while following traffic rules.
• Follow patient privacy rules precisely.

Work assigned routes with time sensitive delivery requirements. Ensure all deliveries are accurate and timely. Comply with all Federal and Company privacy regulations regarding safeguarding of patient information.

Essential Job Functions (include the following):

• Determine most efficient and logical route for each route assigned
• Check totes for assigned facilities to ensure order is complete prior to departure
• Delivery correct totes to facilities in a timely manner
• Exchange facility emergency kits and IV boxes as needed
• Pick-up return items and refused Medications when required; using all safety protocols
• Complete all paperwork/filing requirements accurately at the end of each work shift
• Present a pleasant and respectful demeanor to all clients at all times
• Work with team members as needed in special circumstances; be flexible as needed
• Monitor vehicle maintenance and advise supervisor when repairs/maintenance is required; take vehicles to be serviced as assigned
• Complete delivery assignments within the shift time assigned, while complying with all traffic regulations
• Follow instructions precisely related to patient privacy rules
• Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed

Education and/or Certifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• State Driver’s License

Skills and Qualifications:

• Applicants must be 21 years old or older
• 2+ years of related experience (advanced degree may substitute for experience)
• Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred/required
• Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
• Ability to solve problems with minimal direction
• Great attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
• Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate
• Ability to use GPS and hands-free cell phones
• Ability to read and follow directions/maps in English

Work Environment:

• Requires travel by ground
• Ability to work flexible hours

Work Schedule

• Overnight shifts between 7:30 PM and 7:00 AM.
• Rotating schedule, including every other weekend.
• Shift end times may vary depending on route completion.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
