We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team in Boulder, United States. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of packages to our valued customers.
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to designated locations.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring proper handling of all items.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency.
- Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or inquiries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Assist with additional tasks as assigned by the management team.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong navigation abilities and familiarity with GPS systems.
- Physical ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with Boulder area roads and traffic patterns.
- Previous delivery experience preferred.
- Knowledge of local area a plus.
- Proficiency in using mobile devices for tracking and reporting.
- Flexible schedule, including the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Additional Information
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS include, but are not limited to:
- Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position.
- Walking: For short distances and durations. Surfaces include ceramic tile "bricks" with linoleum in some food processing areas. Height of work surfaces is between 36" and 48".
- Sitting: Paperwork is normally completed at a desk or table in an office.
- Lifting: Bulk product deliveries are made twice a week or more, unloaded using a hand truck. Deliveries may include cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds with dimensions of up to 3' x 1.5'. Cases are usually lifted from the floor and stacked onto shelves up to 72" high.
- Carrying: Large cans weighing 3 pounds 7 ounces, and occasionally 30-pound pizza sauce, are carried from storage to the front of the store. Trays of pizza dough weighing approximately 12 pounds are carried three at a time over short distances.
- Pushing: Moving trays on dollies, requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force. Trays may also be pulled.
- Climbing: Navigating stairs or ladders infrequently for tasks like changing signs or performing maintenance.
