Domino's Delivery Drivers Must Be at Least 18 Years Old and Need:

  • Friendly, positive attitude and great customer service skills
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Reliable vehicle to use for deliveries
  • Proof of car insurance
  • Safe driving record meeting company standards
  • Possess navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area and must be able to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings

Those are the basics, but here’s what else you can expect:

Responsibilities
  • Operate all equipment
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler
  • Prepare product
  • Receive and process telephone orders
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
  • Clean equipment and facility approximately daily
  • Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area; a Team Member may make several deliveries per shift

  • Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces

Essential Skills and Competencies
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change
  • Eye-hand coordination for continuous, accurate work
  • Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for precise movements
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Work Conditions
  • Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks
  • In-store temperatures range from 36 degrees to 90 degrees and above
  • Sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside
  • Fumes from food odors; exposure to cornmeal dust
  • Cramped quarters including walk-in cooler
  • Hot surfaces/tools up to 500 degrees or higher
  • Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts
Physical Requirements
  • Driving: Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area; may make several deliveries per shift
  • Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position
  • Walking: For short distances
  • Lifting: Deliveries may include cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Carrying: Large cans; pizza sauce; trays of dough as described
  • Pushing: Move trays on dollies; pull trays as needed
  • Climbing: Navigate stairs or ladders occasionally
  • Stooping/Bending: Required at various workstations
  • Reaching: Continuous up/down/forward reach
  • Hand Tasks: Eye-hand coordination and repetitive hand use
