Mid-City Lumber Company is seeking a Delivery Truck Driver/Yard at its Linn Creek location. The role focuses on pulling and loading orders, delivering to customer sites, and maintaining accurate paperwork with ticketed items.

The position requires a valid Class E license for light trucks, ability to operate forklifts and conveyors, and strong safety awareness. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a 60-day probationary period and benefits after completion.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class E license for light trucks and material handling equipment.
• Must be able to safely operate material handling equipment including forklifts, conveyors, etc.
• Strong ability to follow multi-step instructions and read tickets.

Responsibilities

• Pull orders correctly and load trucks in order of use by customers.
• Know product codes and quantities to ensure accurate orders and paperwork.
• Deliver loads to correct customer sites; use maps and navigation.
• Scan in and scan out loads; maintain safety and wear seat belts.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and keep trucks clean; report damage promptly.
• Assist with pulling/loading as needed and ensure secure loads.
