Job summary

Gordon Food Service Store LLC in Houston is hiring a Delivery Driver to serve wholesale customers with accurate in-store picks and timely product deliveries. You will build strong customer relationships, perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, and help maintain organized shelves and secure assets while following store policies.

Eligible applicants must be at least 18, hold an unrestricted standard operator’s license, have a clean driving record, and pass pre-employment checks including

Qualifications

• At least 1 year previous delivery driving experience and one year in customer service or related field preferred.
• Unrestricted Standard Operators License required.
• Must have a clean driving record (no drug or alcohol offenses in the last 5 years).
• Minimum 18 years old.
• Pass pre-employment checks including drug screen, criminal background check and MVR.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and use a two-wheel cart up to 350 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Accurately locates and picks orders in-store for Wholesale customers.
• Builds and maintains good customer relationships.
• Deliveries timely and accurate; ensure customer satisfaction.
• Performs daily pre/post trip inspection of vehicle and equipment.
• Ensure accurate POS transactions and secure assets; receive and merchandise products with rotation and planogram execution.
