Job summary

Gordon Food Service Store LLC in Houston, TX is hiring a Van Delivery Driver to ensure courteous, on-time deliveries and accurate handling of in-store purchases.

You will operate the van on a daily route, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and assist with store operations as needed. Requirements include 1 year of delivery driving experience, a valid license, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of delivery driving experience and 1 year in customer service or related field preferred.
• Unrestricted Standard Operator’s License required.
• Clean driving record (no drug or alcohol offenses in last 5 years).
• Must be a minimum of 18 years old.
• Pass pre-employment checks including drug screen, background check and MVR.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and operate a two-wheel cart up to 350 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Delivery: locate and pick orders in-store for Wholesale customers and ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain good customer relationships and keep customers happy with accurate deliveries.
• In-store: process purchases through POS and secure assets per policy.
• Ensure proper rotation and organization of stock, end caps and backroom.
