Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a Van Delivery Driver to ensure courteous, on-time, and accurate deliveries with a daily route. The role includes in-store support before or after routes and requires safe driving practices and attention to detail.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of delivery driving experience, 1 year in customer service, and a valid unrestricted license. Pre-employment screening and a clean driving history are required for consideration.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year previous delivery driving experience and one year in customer service or related field preferred.
• Unrestricted Standard Operators License required.
• Must have a clean driving record (no drug or alcohol offenses in the last 5 years).
• You must be a minimum of 18 years old (required).
• Pre-employment checks including a drug screen, criminal background check and motor vehicle report (MVR).
• Must be able to use a two-wheel cart with a load weighing up to 350 pounds.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Delivery: Locates and picks orders in-store for Wholesale customers; builds and maintains good customer relationships; delivers products accurately and on time; performs daily pre/post trip vehicle inspections.
• In Store: Process customer purchases at checkout; secure assets; receive and merchandise products; ensure rotation, planogram execution, top stock, and backroom organization.
