Job summary

Gordon Food Service Store Fort Myers is hiring a Van Delivery Driver to ensure courteous, on-time deliveries and accurate orders to Wholesale customers. The role also supports in-store operations and requires safe driving practices along with attention to detail.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of delivery driving experience, 1 year in customer service, and an unrestricted license. A clean driving record and pre-employment checks are required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year previous delivery driving experience and 1 year in customer service or related field preferred.
• Unrestricted Standard Operators License required.
• Must have a clean driving record (no major offenses in the last 5 years).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Successful completion of pre-employment checks (drug screen, background, MVR).
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and push a two-wheel cart up to 350 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to wholesale customers on a daily route with accuracy and timeliness.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist with in-store operations before or after route as needed.
• Perform daily pre/post trip vehicle inspections.
