Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. in Forest Park, GA is seeking a professional delivery driver to operate company vehicles and deliver products safely and on time. You will support branch operations, coordinate routes with management, and verify correct product at delivery.

This role requires a valid CDL, a clean driving record, ability to lift up to 60 pounds, and readiness to work 80% travel to branches nationwide. You will participate in DOT/OSHA certifications and ongoing driver training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year driving delivery truck.
• 1 year forklift and warehouse experience.
• 1 year customer service experience, preferred.
• Proficient in computer and inventory systems, preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Possess a satisfactory driving record as determined by Company Driver Policies.
• Qualify for and remain insurable under Company liability insurance policy.
• Qualify under federal and state regulations to drive the vehicle in question.

Responsibilities

• Delivers specified product to various locations in a safe and efficient manner by driving short and long distances during the day.
• Coordinates with management for safe and efficient delivery route.
• Verifies with the customer the correct product was delivered in satisfactory condition.
• Performs loading and unloading of truck, as needed.
• Maintains all required certifications required by DOT, OSHA and company safety programs.
• Ensures all required paperwork, including shipping papers and Hazmat paperwork, is accurately completed.
• Performs pre and post truck inspections.
• Maintains truck maintenance records.
• Travel 80% to branches and other operating companies.
