Job summary

Border States in Wichita, KS is seeking a Delivery Driver to support the day-to-day warehouse operations by delivering materials to customer sites and branch locations, maintaining a clean vehicle, logs, and DOT/state inspection readiness. This role requires adherence to safety regulations, accurate routing, loading and unloading, and responsive customer service.

A minimum of 2 years in warehouse distribution is preferred; valid driver’s license, current medical certification, and clean driving

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse distribution experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles is required.
• Current medical certification is required.
• Clean driving record is essential.
• SAP software familiarity is a plus.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provides delivery of material to Border States branches and customer sites based on business needs.
• Maintains delivery vehicle in clean, good working condition and monitors maintenance and mileage data.
• Schedules DOT/state mandated inspection visits, as required.
• Maintains daily driver logs and vehicle inspection sheets.
• Loads and unloads material and provides exceptional customer service.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
