Job summary

Echo Electric, a leading electrical distributor, is hiring a Driver/Warehouse Associate to ensure safe, efficient delivery of electrical supplies and to assist with warehouse tasks. Starting rate ranges from $18–$22 per hour, with a 6:30 AM–3:30 PM, Monday–Friday shift, based on experience.

The role requires a valid Class C license (or ability to obtain within 30 days), DOT qualifications, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Opportunities include professional development and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• A Class C license or the ability to obtain a Class C license within 30 days of employment.
• Successful completion of all driver qualifications as specified in the Department of Transportation regulations, including pre-employment physical examination, regularly scheduled follow-up physical examinations, and proof of a safe driving record.
• Drive company truck(s) with great care, assuring compliance with all prevailing traffic laws and legal speed limits, and safety protocol.
• Provides associates with possible solutions and/or appropriate contact information when problems arise, reports observations of customer opportunities and problems to the Warehouse Manager.
• Loads and unloads materials from truck in an accurate, efficient, and safe manner, utilizing proper body mechanics and proper equipment (e.g., forklift).
• Receive and check-in deliveries, pickups and returns to ensure quality and quantity of products.
• Cut wire, rod, or strut, safely utilizing the appropriate equipment.
• Sweep floors remove trash and otherwise maintain the warehouse in a tidy and safe condition.
• Pick, pack, and ship orders. Orders range from a small box to pallets.
• Record losses of damaged or defective materials.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, efficient, and courteous delivery of electrical supplies.
• Assist with general warehouse duties.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and stage orders for delivery.
• Receive and check-in deliveries and returns to ensure quantity and quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and report any issues to supervisor.
