Job summary

Echo Electric, a leading electrical distributor and brand of Sonepar, is hiring a Driver/Warehouse Associate in Illinois. The role focuses on safe, efficient delivery of electrical supplies and assisting with general warehouse duties. The starting rate is $18-22 per hour, with a 7 AM–4 PM, Monday through Friday shift.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class C license or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
• Successful completion of DOT driver qualifications including physicals and driving record.
• Basic computer skills and problem-solving abilities are expected.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical supplies safely to customers and maintain courteous service.
• Load and unload materials from truck with proper equipment.
• Operate warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Receive, check in deliveries, and process returns to ensure quantity and quality.
• Pick, pack, and ship orders of varying sizes, from small boxes to pallets.
• Record damaged or missing materials and report observations to Warehouse Manager.
