Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer Service experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
• Minimum age to obtain a drive for hire endorsement - Varies per state and insurance regulations.

Responsibilities

• Be appropriately dressed for the elements (Wearing appropriate PPE as required).
• Load, unload, sort and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
• Operate, navigate and drive all company fleet vehicles following road rules and regulations.
• Plan delivery routes with shipping supervisor to maximize efficiency.
• Meet delivery deadlines and read work orders or receive instructions.
• Participate in loading/unloading of company fleet trucks.
• Cut wire as needed.
• Perform standard warehouse duties as assigned.
• Follow DOT policy on Load Securement and Transportation of Dangerous Goods.
• Provide on-the-job training to new/junior drivers as required.
• Provide information for incident reports related to health and safety issues.
