Job summary

DeBra-Kuempel in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate. You will pick up equipment and materials from our shop or supply houses and deliver to various job sites, ensuring timely, accurate deliveries and proper documentation.

Responsibilities include vehicle safety inspections, securing loads, operating a forklift if trained, and assisting with warehouse duties. A High School diploma and valid DOT medical card are required or preferred; CDL-A is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CDL A license (optional).
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Clean MVR.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs.
• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery vehicle is in a safe operating condition by completing the pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily.
• Verify accuracy of all equipment picked up or delivered using PO and Job Number.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment in the cab as well as outside of vehicle; ensure gates and lift gate are secure to the vehicle; wash vehicle as necessary.
• Comply with all safe driving rules and traffic laws.
• Ensure that the materials on the truck are secure, properly strapped and blocked.
• Ensure that all paperwork is in vehicle when handling hazardous material.
• End of the day: discard delivery packaging and turn in receipts.
• Wear complete DeBra-Kuempel uniform (PPE).
• Keep shop clean and materials/tools organized.
• Notify staff of vehicle maintenance issues.
• Assist with warehouse duties when needed.
