Job summary

Farmers Home Furniture in Valdosta is looking for a qualified Delivery Driver to manage delivery and warehouse activities. You will drive trucks to deliver merchandise to customers, load and unload vehicles, and maintain cleanliness of the warehouse.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a valid State Drivers License.
• Requires six months experience in a distribution or warehouse environment.
• Must be 21 years old and meet DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drives truck in assigned zone to deliver products to customers.
• Loads and unloads merchandise at customer locations.
• Records deliveries and submits reports to management.

Skills

Valid State Drivers License

Familiarity with delivery areas

Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 100 pounds)

Customer service skills

Education
