Job summary

Schewel Furniture Company Inc is seeking a Warehouse Delivery Driver in Galax, VA. This full-time manual labor role involves driving a delivery truck to customers’ homes, loading/unloading merchandise, and performing regular truck inspections.

You will also assist in warehouse tasks, ensure paperwork is completed, and maintain a neat, safe work area while upholding professional customer service. This position reports to the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to read and understand delivery paperwork and safety regulations.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload trucks and stock merchandise.
• Deliver merchandise to customers' homes and assist with assembly as needed.
• Perform daily pre-trip inspections and maintain the delivery truck.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe warehouse and manage paperwork.
