We are seeking a dependable and customer‑focused Delivery Driver to join our Logistics team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the safe, timely, and professional delivery of office technology equipment, supplies, and related products to customers throughout the assigned service area.

Position Summary

The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe transportation, delivery, pickup, and handling of business technology equipment, office products, and related materials. This position serves as a key representative of Datamax, ensuring every customer interaction reflects the company's commitment to professionalism, reliability, and exceptional service.

Working closely with Logistics, Warehouse, Service, Dispatch, and Sales teams, the Delivery Driver ensures equipment is delivered accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards while maintaining the highest level of safety and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Transportation

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up office technology equipment, supplies, and related products.
• Load, secure, transport, unload, and position equipment while following proper safety and handling procedures.
• Verify equipment, supplies, and delivery documentation prior to departure and upon delivery.
• Complete scheduled delivery routes efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Obtain customer signatures, delivery confirmations, and required documentation.

Customer Service

• Serve as a professional representative of Datamax during every customer interaction.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding delivery schedules, equipment placement, and basic operational questions.
• Maintain a courteous, positive, and service‑oriented attitude while resolving routine customer concerns.
• Report customer feedback, delivery issues, or service opportunities to the appropriate departments.

Logistics & Operations

• Assist with warehouse loading, unloading, inventory movement, and staging of equipment.
• Coordinate with Dispatch, Warehouse, Service, and Sales teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Inspect deliveries for accuracy, damage, and completeness before leaving the warehouse and after delivery.
• Return completed paperwork, delivery receipts, and documentation promptly.
• Support equipment relocations, customer moves, returns, and warehouse transfers as assigned.

Vehicle & Safety

• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns immediately.
• Maintain company vehicles in a clean, organized, and professional condition.
• Operate all equipment in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations, company safety policies, and safe lifting procedures.
• Follow all traffic laws and defensive driving practices.
• Maintain a clean driving record and promote a culture of workplace safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous delivery, transportation, warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience preferred.
• Valid Texas driver's license with an excellent driving record.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and transport equipment weighing up to 75 pounds independently and heavier items with assistance or appropriate equipment.
• Experience operating hand trucks, pallet jacks, dollies, and other material handling equipment preferred.Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Basic computer and mobile device proficiency for delivery documentation and communication.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining close communication with the operations team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering office equipment, copiers, printers, or business technology products.
• Warehouse and inventory management experience.
• Familiarity with delivery routing software or mobile logistics applications.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment setup and placement.
• DOT medical certification or commercial driving experience is a plus (not required).
