Job summary

Amarr, part of ASSA ABLOY, is seeking a Warehouse Worker/Delivery Driver in Columbia, SC. This is a physically demanding role with heavy lifting in a non-climate controlled environment.

You will unload/inspect goods, stage and load for customers, and deliver in a 26’ box truck as needed. We require 21+ years old with a valid license and at least one year of driving experience, DOT compliance, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and at least one year of driving experience.
• Requires heavy repetitive lifting (50-75 lb) and constant movement.
• Must pass DOT requirements including physical, background screening, and MVR.
• Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines.
• Demonstrated history of steady employment.

Responsibilities

• Unload and inspect incoming product (50-75 lb) by hand.
• Pull, stage, and load product for customers, providing excellent service.
• Provide deliveries in a 26’ box truck as needed.
• Assist with inventory and damage control.
