Description

Garden State Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate to join our TEAM! As a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate, you are delivering to customers, and/or job sites and vendors pickups in the Charleston, SC and surrounding areas in a non CDL required vehicle and you are receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse for each client and team member to ensure customer satisfaction and providing the highest level of concierge customer service to every client in a timely safe, accurate, and efficient manner.

Garden State Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate to join our TEAM! As a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate, you are delivering to customers, and/or job sites and vendors pickups in the Charleston, SC and surrounding areas in a non CDL required vehicle and you are receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse for each client and team member to ensure customer satisfaction and providing the highest level of concierge customer service to every client in a timely safe, accurate, and efficient manner.

This position offers a competitive base hourly wage range of $28.00 to $30.00 per hour.

Garden State Tile’s facility is equipped with state-of-the-art wireless warehouse technology uses Epicor Prophet 21 technology and is conveniently located on Technical Parkway in North Charleston, SC. The expansive Warehouse and Sales Service Center, open to both the trade and the public, spans an impressive 8,000 square feet and offers local pick-up and delivery options to customers in the lowcountry. Stocked setting materials, tools, cleaners, sealers, and finishing pieces are also available for on-site purchase.

Warehouse and Contractor pick up hours are 5 days a week, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday with unpaid lunch between 12:30 pm and 1:00 pm. Scheduling is fulltime.

Requirements

• CDL preferred but not required.
• Deliveries to customers, and/or job sites and vendors pickup in non cdl required vehicle.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Includes warehousing duties in addition to deliveries.
• Receive and enter all shipments arriving in the warehouse.
• Accurately prepare all orders for shipping and pick-ups.
• Process transfers and orders in and out of the warehouse.
• Perform cycle counts as scheduled and preserve accurate inventory.
• Maintain proper safety procedures.

Background checks will be conducted post job offer.
