DSG is seeking a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate in our Alexandria, MN location. This full-time, hourly position involves working typically between 7:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional variation based on business needs. Responsibilities include splitting duties between warehouse operations and delivering products to customers and jobsites, including loading, unloading, securing, transporting materials, as well as picking, staging, receiving, and cycle counting in the warehouse.

A Typical Day in the Life of a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate at DSG:

• Load delivery truck safely according to company policy
• Coordinate with warehouse staff on loading procedures
• Inspect truck & trailer for safety and compliance with DOT standards
• Report vehicle issues promptly
• Communicate delivery schedules with customers
• Drive within approximately 150 miles of the branch
• Unload materials at customer locations
• Comply with DOT/FMCSA and OSHA regulations, including training
• Follow DSG’s safety policies and maintain a good driving record
• Assist warehouse operations when not on delivery, including pulling, packing, labeling, operating forklifts, and using computer systems

Qualifications for a Successful Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate:

• Valid Driver’s License and ability to obtain a medical card
• 1-3 years of relevant experience and basic product/warehouse knowledge
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Safety training in material handling and forklift operation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
